You'll make a LOT less, sail alone and buy crappy bread. You'll also live in
a house that will barely gain value. We're seeking a house now, waterfront. It's called an "investment. Make a lot less? Crappy guess. I live in one of the top 10 income counties in the U.S. House barely gain value? Surely your not familiar with the Balto/Wash area. My house has increased in value 4 fold since I bought it and I paid it off early. I've put 3 kids through college and owe no tuation bills or loans. My boat is paid for. I have no major bills. I'm thinking about bailing early but you say I make "a lot less". If I lived in North Jersey/N.Y. my kids would be dropouts and on drugs, I'd live in an "apartment" in N.Y. 6 floors up with no grass or an overpriced WW II prefab in N.J. with a $20,000 property tax bill. Plus I'd have to sail on that polluted rip tide body of water you do and have to power wash the decks before every use. Sail alone? I don't cruise the seedy downtown areas around bus stations and peep shows to lure teenage girls who are hungry to my boat if that's what you mean.
