Genoa Trim question
 

30' boat with a masthead rig, flying a 155% in 12k. The middle windward
tell is breaking first. The top breaks well after the middle, followed very
closely by the bottom.

What, if anything would you do to optimize trim?

Well, there's a novel idea. Let's pretend that we're close hauled. The
sail is sheeted in to about 2" off the end of the spreader, as usual for
this close hauled course.

Assuming that all the tell tales are the standard 6", I would cut 4" off the
middle tell-tale. I think that you will find that makes the problem go
away. If that doesn't cure it, then you could try cutting another 2" off.

What do you mean by 'breaking'? Is that when they start to fly, or when they
drop?
