Our SWFL eagles have been on about the same schedule for the last two
years. The eggs get laid in November and hatch out towards the end
of December - lots of fun to watch.
I haven't seen the eagles we usually have in the scrub every year. I
guess they found another spot. Maybe their favorite tree is not so
attractive now (lightning strike or something) You really can't see it
that well from the water and the guy I knew at the park who was
studying them got promoted out of the park.

The eagle's nest north of Picnic island seems to be gone also.
