Johnny, you should read carefully before making dumb comments.
The vertically challenged guy from CT was suggesting freestyle motocross.
I haven't watched Olympic sports in many years, but I seem to recall a
couple of events for pedal-powered bicycles. That seems appropriate for
the Olympics, but I'm pretty certain there is no place in the Olympics
for engine-powered sports, and there shouldn't be.
That was what I was talking about ... bicycles.
When we were at Mammoth Ca these crazy SOBs were going down the ski
slopes on mountain bikes just about as fast as they could go. As if
that was not dangerous enough, they built jumps for them and there
were guys doing aerial stunts off of them.
That is America. If Europe invents a dangerous sport like skiing, we
find a way to make it "radical dude".
A couple years ago my friends in Holland had gone to Italy for skiing. There was almost no snow, so
the ski resorts were renting mountain bikes. The bikes could be taken up the lifts and ridden back
down.
If snow boarding made it, I'll bet the BMX stuff isn't far behind.
