Your response has nothing to do with my posit, that your state's stand
your ground law makes morons think they have a license to kill if
someone upsets them. And stand your ground certainly has been brought up
by the Jacksonville defendant.

Was there a stand your ground hearing? I don't remember seeing it and
that is what the law affords the defendant. If the case ever makes it
to trial, the defense is a standard self defense case, based on the
"use of deadly force" law.

Dunn is basing his defense on the claim to have seen what he thought
was a weapon. I doubt it will work for him but if he was a cop, it
would have never even come to a trial and nobody would have questioned
the 10 shots. That is the crime..

Cite what? That Dunn mentioned stand your ground as a defense? It's been
all over the news reports. I don't know whether there was a hearing on
SYG...what i said was the defendant has brought it up.
