Wacky Americans throwing millions at pirate treasure.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes from this latest hunt.

Is he an American, or a Canadian who's been looking for treasure for the past 38 years?

Sounds pretty wacky to me!

When I was a little kid, maybe 8, my summer buddies and I would spend
many hours every week scouring Charles Island in Milford, Connecticut,
for Captain Kidd's treasure.

Never found anything metallic other than a few empty Hull's Export Beer
cans.

When I was a kid, we did the same thing, in Puerto Rico. Ramey AFB is right on the coast. We found a
tunnel, but nothing in it. Then one day I found an animal skull. I knew it must be a prehistoric
creature of some kind, so I took it to school and gave it to the science teacher. She looked at it
for a couple seconds and said, "Itls a cow."

Oh well. Third graders aren't supposed to be forensic anthropologists.
