Bert, I'll be thinking of you as I bounce balls off the ice on #10!

Enjoy!
Golfing when the temp is in the 30's? Sounds a bit like the old-time
religious flagellation/mortification, when acolytes whipped themselves
on the back so as to prove their dedication.
If the sun is out, like today, and the wind is not blowing, like today, walking the golf course when
temp's in the 30's is quite pleasant. The exercise keeps one warm. I usually take the windbreaker
off by the third hole. You should try it. Put on some layered clothing, a vest, a windbreaker, and
walk 6 - 7 miles. You'll be surprised how quickly you warm up.
Oh, some 180s ear muffs are a big help.
L.L. Bean is having a sale on mad bomber hats. You could get one at the
Tysons store and also check out a new Apple computer a few doors down.
Wear the new hat *in* the Apple store...everyone there will love it.

Go for it.
I need a bill on my cap for golfing, so those don't do much for me. When the 'bill' is pulled down,
the fuzz blocks the view.
That might improve your game!
It couldn't have hurt this morning, that's for damn sure. I had taken 14 strokes on the first two
holes. Par would have been 9 strokes. Not a good start, but I was able to find the balls in the
woods three times. Probably should have warmed up a little first.
