I bet they frown on skinny dipping at 2 AM tho ;-)
Well, there is that.
I also doubt Mr Ed would be welcome.
He is my "lap partner" when we swim.
Problem solved:

Ed looks the part, there are lots of yellow lab service dogs but I
doubt he could act the part long enough to convince anyone. ;-)
There was a special on this on the local news just the other night.
Working Dogs, whether fake or
not, *can* be kicked out of a restaurant, etc. for 'bad behavior'. It
showed a scene of a 'working
dog' going ape**** when another 'working dog' entered the establishment.
The second was a real,
trained working dog, which showed no reaction at all to the
aggressiveness of the other dog.
When I use the crosswalk to get over the four-lane road here (Franconia),
cars stop a lot more
readily if I'm walking the pointer. But maybe the drivers just think
she's a good looking dog.

And, she wishes everyone here a Merry Christmas!
When I was working in Switzerland in about 1987 on a job for a few weeks,
we went to dinner one night. Leaving, a German Shepard tried to attack me
as we came through the front part of the restaurant. Could not figure out
why, until we went outside. Colin said he had stepped on the sleeping dog.
And I was the first person it saw. Dogs are normally OK as handled in
European Restaurants. Here, some purse dog would be on the table being fed
from a plate.
Yup, you're right. I've seen lots of dogs in German restaurants, always very well behaved. That last
sentence is right also.
