Thanks for the post, Chuck. The old phrasing ("got stuffed under a rock")
just sounded a bit minimizing to me, although I know we all talk that way
without poor intentions. But I bet relatives and friends of the kayaker
would have found it a bit callous. I think the new way you worded is much
better, sends a clearer warning, and fits in perfectly with the
safety-minded message of AW.

I didn't know about the forum, so I didn't post anything there. But I'll
explore the site more so I don't seem like some sort of backdoor grouser,
and can find the main channels. :-)
