A Chinese carrier recently received approval for non-stop flights from
Boston to Beijing. Can't imagine that.

I flew to Shanghai from Boston with a fuel stop in Seattle and Tokyo
Japan. It was snowing in Tokyo and our departure for Shanghai was
delayed for hours while all the departing planes were de-iced. Longest
flight I ever took. Total travel time was something like 36-38 hours.

Dulles to LA to Seoul. Miserable. But the stewardesses on Korean Air were absolutely gorgeous, gave
free booze and sandwiches all night long, and made the flight a bit less miserable.

Apparently age and sex discrimination don't mean crap to Korean Air.
