Side docking a twin engine boat is very easy even without thrusters.
The secret is to approach at an angle and get the bow line down first.
Once the bow is secured, you can move the stern anywhere you want with
props and rudders.
I confess. I cheated. I used the thrusters in that video. :-)
There was no one on the dock to receive a line and my crew member friend
who went out on the bow didn't have the boat hook to place a line on a
dock cleat. He was going to try to lasso it but I yelled down to him
that it wasn't necessary.

When you are retired, there really isn't a need for clocks unless you
need to interface with someone who isn't retired.
