Scalia Calls “Duck Dynasty” Decision Unconstitutional

I know, Borowitz ... but the duck guy has as much right to speak his
mind as Begala or Bill Maher

This guy is a goober who makes duck calls, not a sociologist.

Nobody who is offended ever watched his show in the first place. I
found it unwatchable myself but I don't watch any of these reality
shows.

In the end I doubt A&E is going to walk away from a $150 million a
year show. I bet they are still shooting and they will be back. They
are just calling it a hiatus. If A&E doesn't want it, someone will
pick it up.

Seems like a natural for Fox, the News Network of Hate.

The thing you keep ignoring is close to half of the country agrees
with him virtually every time they poll the question.
... but Fox news kicks every one else's ass in the Nielsens too.

This guy said something in an obscure interview that nobody read and
he is on a TV show that nobody who would be offended will ever watch
so this looks like a media generated story.

My guess, they start the show up in a few weeks and the ratings are
better than ever.
That is what A&E really cares about.

Publicly expressing hatred towards gays and making moronic comments
about blacks, as Mr. Duck has done, appeals mostly to an aging white man
audience, which is being less and less relevant. That Fox is a leader in
ratings seems to be bringing diminishing returns to the GOP in its
attempts to elect a president, although with Republican governors and
state legislatures working full speed ahead to disenfranchise groups of
voters that don't buy into the utter nonsense it is selling, you never
know. I have hope the GOP will nominate a "real conservative" tea bagger
in 2016 and lose yet again.
