I know for a fact that there are many right-wing bible thumpers in this



country who are working hard to push their religious beliefs onto those



who believe differently. A good number of those thumpers are politicians.

They impact the lives of people I care about with their religion, their

It's the self-proclaimed christian politician/leader on the soap box
passing "christian" legislation that discriminates against women,
children, gays, minorities, et cetera, that bothers me. Hey, if you want
to bury your head in the sand and pretend as if your hate-filled
co-religionists aren't hurting society, go right ahead. After all,
you're not the daddy who has to explain to a small child why the
draconian christian republican cuts in the SNAP program mean less food
on the table and in his or her belly, and that such cuts demonstrate how
"pro-life" these christian republican legislators are.
