I know for a fact that there are many right-wing bible thumpers in this
country who are working hard to push their religious beliefs onto those
who believe differently. A good number of those thumpers are politicians.


A lot less are pushing their religious belief on others than the group that
is forcing their political belief on others. You and your leftists are
that group!


You should start a thread to discuss your feelings about groups that
force their political beliefs on others. Let us know when one of those
groups forces you to have an abortion.


Those political groups are forcing people who are against abortion, or even
those who are against late term abortion to pay for those same abortions.
I am not against first term abortion, just late term abortion. But if you
can afford to get knocked up, you and the sperm donor can pay for the
abortion or morning after pill.


If you can afford a pack of cigarettes, you should pay for your cancer treatment.

If you are hit by a car, you should pay for your own treatment...or burial.

And so on, ad nauseum.




Those smokers are paying for their cancer treatment. Huge taxes on
tobacco. NYC is like $13 a pack, mostly taxes. Getting knocked up is not
really an accident. Car crashes are. With the amount of different birth
control available, besides an aspirin held between the knees, there should
be an extremely small rate of accidental knocking up! Smokers are a
smaller draw on societies money than most groups. They die earlier, do not
collect Social Security or not for long, and pay huge amount of taxes for
the habit.
