We had plenty of people telling us WWII was god's work and my father
had a government issued shirt pocket bible with an armor plate cover.
I doubt it would stop a rifle round but it might stop 9mm if you were
wearing enough outer wear and it was from pretty far away.
"Religion" is superstitious nonsense, and sometimes its practitioners
engage in hateful nonsense.
