Just turn on the sprinklers.
Actually the raccoons that are tearing up the lawn presently, might tear up
the sitters.
Raccoons tearing up the yard? Are you sure it isn't armadillos?
Raccoons get in the trash and eat the fruit off your trees but I have
not heard of them tearing up the lawn.
Armadillos will drill a 2" hole in the ground about 50 times a night
digging up grubs and other tasty lawn critters.
Now when you get gopher tortoises you can really get some damage.
I still put up with them tho.
Friggin' armadillos in FL will ruin a lawn!!
They are tough on Floritam but bahia seems to recover fairly fast. I
don't think bahia collects as many of the bugs they like either. My
neighbors seem to have worse armadillo damage than I do.
I don't obsess on my lawn tho I don't irrigate so it gets pretty
rough in the spring and winter.
Same here, when I lived in FL, I didn't worry about it, grass grows, I
mow it, other than that, so be it!
