Just turn on the sprinklers.
Actually the raccoons that are tearing up the lawn presently, might tear up
the sitters.
Raccoons tearing up the yard? Are you sure it isn't armadillos?
Raccoons get in the trash and eat the fruit off your trees but I have
not heard of them tearing up the lawn.
Armadillos will drill a 2" hole in the ground about 50 times a night
digging up grubs and other tasty lawn critters.
Now when you get gopher tortoises you can really get some damage.
I still put up with them tho.
No armadillos here. The raccoons go after the worms and grubs. My lawn
was being over watered, problem with the sprinkler controller. So very
wet, and I think it drove the worms and grubs toward the surface.
And to think that I used to get a buck and a half for a raccoon skin when I was in high school. Of
course, we spent a lot of time in the woods at night to make our few dollars.
