I noticed that last night while browsing through the various cable
network shows, MSNBC in particular. Big Ed was on a roll as were
Maddow and O'Donnell.

It's as if the DNC issues them scripts and talking points.

Apparently GOP Good Buddy Rubio and several others are "minimizing" the
impact of Christie's landslide victory:

Washington (CNN) – In an interview with CNN, Republican Sen. Marco
Rubio
downplayed Wednesday any national takeaways from GOP Gov. Chris
Christie's crushing victory in the blue state of New Jersey and
Republican Ken Cuccinelli's loss in Virginia, saying what happened in
Tuesday's elections carry little implications for the future of the
GOP.

"I think we need to understand that some of these races don't apply to
future races. Every race is different–it has a different set of
factors–but I congratulate (Christie) on his win," he told CNN Chief
Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash.


I've never been a fan of the Big Blowhard from Jersey. He sure as hell
isn't doing anything to improve the quality of life of ordinary people
in his state, and there are still huge areas untouched by repairs after
Hurricane Sandy, with citizens wondering why their governor talks the
talk but doesn't walk the walk.

I don't see Christie doing well in the GOP primary process, but you
never know. The Republicans are going to pick one of the Teabagger
Boys.




Well, the one claim being made that disturbs me is that he is "sitting
on" about two thirds of federal aid earmarked for Sandy victims. If
true, he has a lot of explaining to do.

Prior to his emergence into the spotlight (well, more of a floodlight) I
knew nothing about him. I got a kick out of his no-nonsense style
initially but I am not quite ready to call him a candidate of choice
yet. Need to hear more.





There are also some interesting "tidbits" in Christie's past.
Hey, more power to him...he's been elected to high political office,
he's obviously bright, but he's too much into himself and he's not a
teabagger. Also, serious presidential candidates usually release health
information about themselves.

Oh, I just saw a bit from Rand "the plagarizer" Paul taking an indirect
shot at Christie. Rush doesn't like him, and neither does Sean Hannity.

The GOP nomination process is going to be a lot of fun.



That we agree upon. It's going to be interesting. Meanwhile, it almost
sounds like Rand Paul is going to take his football and go home. Good
riddance.

I have a friend who is a card carrying member of the Tea Party and an
apostle of Ted Cruz. We have some interesting conversations. The only
thing I can give her credit for is her unwavering belief that the Tea
Party *had* to take a stand to stop the accelerating swing to the left
in the USA. She has no use for moderate conservatives who have not
embraced the Tea Party message.

But, we somehow have remained friends and on speaking terms.
