Sure it will. Either in 2014 or 2016, the Repubs will lose control of

This gets back to what I said earlier.
"Fixing" this plan will require more revenue or more borrowing and any
party that makes that kind of tax increases is not going to be around
next time.
You will be left with young people paying a lot for insurance they
don't want or paying much higher taxes for the rest of their life.
Neither will be popular. The question is when that reaches the point
that they actually start voting their own best interests and not what
some actor tells them to do..
Looking at my property tax bill, I notice that between one quarter and
one third goes to support public transit and enriched programs in our schools.
I use neither.
Sometimes we just have to bite the bullet for the good of the entire
community, not just our own interests.
We are nowhere near socialism.
