In other parts of the Netherlands, areas are marked with buoys for
water skiers, who stick to these areas and upset nobody.

Well that's the problem Martin, there are NO other public lakes in the
whole of the country that allow speeds over 10mph. Windermere was
promised to be safe haven for us when a 10mph limit was imposed on the
other lakes but as we have seen on numerous occasions, this government
can't be trusted. And as the for National Park Authority, who the hell
elected them to speak on our behalf? No one!!
