Anyone have a DSLR camera like the T3 or T4, etc, that when you are
shooting video, you can use the eye piece instead of the LCD
screen to
view while shooting. I tried one in the store today and when I
went to
video, the eyepiece didn't work... Any input, did I do something
wrong?

Settings. It's as simple as that, you have it set to video from
the lcd
only.

Another post shot off without knowing what the hell you are talking
about... But hey, that never stopped you before...

Oh? Here, you stupid ****, they even show you how to open the box

If you wanted the capability to do so, perhaps you should have actually
learned a little about the camera before you bought it.....

Didn't buy anything asshole.. btw, why do you get off on being such an
asshole, asshole?

I think he may have been talking to Harry, the guy who bought the camera.

No, he was talking to me, but it was don who bought without doing the
homework and has the useless tool....

Most of the current digital still cameras that also shoot videos use the
LCD screen for the latter. If you can adapt yourself to shooting a video
that way, you can get some very high quality videos. I don't even like
shooting stills through an LCD, especially outdoors in a challenging
lighting situation but obviously there are photographers who prefer the
LCD to a viewfinder.
