Actually, earlier today I saw a TV news feature on how self-described
Christians use their religion as an excuse to try to get rid of health
care coverage for poor people and others who cannot get the insurance. I
was wondering what was behind it.

Really, what channel was that? Who was the commentator, I would like to
look the story up on the net...
