Getting its hands on the National Parks has long been a wet dream of the
right...control the parks, own the parks, develop the parks, exploit the
parks, log the parks, extract oil and gas from the parks, turn the parks
into mini police states, et cetera.

I can see it now...McDonald's Yosemite National Park, with the rangers
dressed up as happy meal characters and a $250 admission except on the
semi annual coupon day.

The National Parks have already been used by the left to limit and prevent the explotation of
natural resources such as trees and oil for the benefit of all.
