An "Internet Hero" ? Sure. My lifelong ambition.

I am here because I've participated in this newsgroup for over 15
years dating back when it was a genuine, functional and useful group.
I have to admit, it's more habit now and maybe it's time to call it
quits. The tone and nature of the place tends to bring out the worst
in everyone, including me. It's not a natural state of mind,
especially for 50-70 year olds who get involved in discussing who's
going to "beat the ****" out of who.

Really stupid to participate anymore when I think about it.
