Hate of what? Yeah, not hate, but I really don't like it when, in this
country, self-described "Christian" lawmakers work so hard to **** over
the weak and the helpless.

I agree with you on most of your criticisms of the fundies (abortion,
the drug war, gays) but I also understand that in the grand scheme of
things, they are not the nazis or even the mullahs.

The drug war is worse than any of the rest (murders, number of people
in prison, corruption of the government etc) and we are not getting
much pushback on that even from the left.

The Nazis and the mullahs started small. Give the fundie Christians a
chance, and they'll become what they want...the American taliban.

Oh? What makes you think they're going to "stop" when they make it
impossible for women to get health care, abortions, equal pay? Give them
an inch and they'll take everything. The fundies want their stamp on all
of society.
