named after and ask native Americans what they think about that. Some

You sound like the people here in Lee County who are so upset about a
picture of General R.E. Lee. I think they want to replace it with one

Though he fought for the wrong side, Robert E. Lee was a principled man
and after the war, he acquitted himself admirably. He sure as hell
didn't help found and serve as a leader of the Ku Klux Klan, even though
he was opposed to extending voting rights to blacks. Of course, today's
GOP wants to remove those rights.

I understand why the high school in Jax should be renamed. The name is
an insult to Americans of good will.


Lee was a proponent of having the former slaves shipped back to Africa.
