Hopefully you have a 2.0 VTEC engine. My biggest problem wat the CV joint boots.
That is the only engine they put in the Prelude from what I can tell.
No problem with the boots so far. I assume they will sell me some
"wrap around" boots when the time comes.
I had an off-road excursion and my boots got torn up. Even after replacement of the inner
shafts and new boots it still wasn't the same.
Can you elaborate on "it still wasn't the same"?
There was a bit of looseness in the steering when turning, and sometimes a thumping at high
speed, over 80 MPH. The boots protect the CV joints from dirt and grime. When dirg gets into
the CV joints they deteriorate rather quickly.
