2. The concept of wearing blackface offends me.
3. Olivier was a great actor, but there were first rate black actors who
could have played and in fact did play the role, Paul Robeson, for one.
In 1965, to have Olivier as Othello was more than a bit condescending to
black actors.
I'll bet you get offended when the Hasty Pudding "girls" do their thing too.
It's really surprising that you don't find yourself offensive.
