I wouldn't call Zimmerman's acts overly aggressive. He may have had
other things on his mind that distracted him from thinking about the
danger of walking into that courtyard after he lost sight of Martin
tho.

I don't think Zimm was fully aware of the danger he was in until the
moment he was forced to protect himself. JMHO
