Former President Bush had heart surgery this morning to implant a stent

This is not President Bush the elder, but "Dubya."

He's supposed to return home tomorrow. Let's hope he has a good recovery.

Amazing, since Dubya is a known "exerciser," and it just proves that no
matter how you live your life, this sort of physical crap can hit you.

While he was jogging.

I am glad my surgery this morning was only for a cataract. Good luck to
Bush in his recovery.

How did the cataract surgery go. My ophthalmologist tells me I have a
cataract in one eye, but that
it's not bad enough for an operation yet. I'm wondering how bad it has to get.

Piece of cake. You have to decide if you want a distance lens or up close
reading lens. I went the distance so I can drive Better at night. Was
getting hazy, reflective lights. Surgery only takes about 20 minutes, but
couple hours total.

Oh. I didn't know about the 'choice' bit. Not sure what I'd want. Guess I'll wait a while. Thanks
for the reply.
