and loved teaching, and most of them were good at it. After
unionization, people began to look at teaching careers as a secure

with decent pay and great benefits. The schools have been going
down hill ever since.

I think anyone who has had kids in school in the past 25-30 years
would agree. A few teachers stand out, but not many anymore.
