The picture I saw showed the victim sitting on the road, blood

everywhere, and two or three black females near him who appeared to

be coming to his aid. Just guessing, but that's what it looks like.

My statement had nothing to do with the pic. Middle of the day, busy area, traffic and shops with people, and the police can't seem to get a straight story from anyone on what they saw. The news story stated that.

Actually, thanks to Google, I took a video tour of that part of Goffe
Street from my old high school to downtown, and I see that it has been
extensively redeveloped in the decades since I left New Haven. I
wouldn't have the slightest hesitancy driving down Goffe Street now, and
I will do so on one of my upcoming trips this year to New Haven.

Just checked crime stats, state by state. South Carolina is much, much
more dangerous than Connecticut.
