The point Texas is making is that it is easy pickings for employers who
want to exploit the work force and the environment and families. "Come
on down to the state of the stupid, where you can run your business
pretty much anyway you want. No real rules here."

Sounds like a convincing argument to move there to me.

Yes, "the state of stupid" WOULD appeal to quite a few.
