Well, since he's an 'merican and probably thinks he has the right to maim & kill anything that dares stand in his way, I guess we have to make allowances for cultural differences.


I'm surprised the crew didn't ask the captain to circle back and kill
the whale so they could eat its flesh and mount its head over the
fireplace. Americans, after all.
