Took our handyman out on the boat today.. he deserved it after we
sweltered under the blistering 35 degree C sun working on a new front

Started off around 10 am in the Arm and proceeded south to the main
harbor.
We ran into a big Japanese cruiser warship coming up the harbor. Went
over to it for a looksee but kept a safe distance. We didn't want to
instigate an international incident.
Next we headed south to the outer harbour..conditions were perfect
with a light mist that made us feel cool and refreshed.
Forgot my GPS so I didn't want to get out too far into the white mist
but it felt like we could boat all the wat to the next
landfall...Bermuda.
We turned east instead..then north to round a couple of popular
unspoiled islands where the local yachy squadron was having a club
raft-up.
continued north past the downtown and saw that Japanese cruiser again
with what looked like a Japanese navy support ship.
Motored oast our navy dockyard, under the two harbor bridges and into
the large Bedford basin where huge convoys would band together for
the dangerous WW2 runs to England and Russia.
Rounded the navy degaussing barge and turned back south to re-trace
our steps.
Too soon to head back up the arm so we motored out to a nice small
pretty fishing cove south of the city, named Herring Cove.
Went up there as far as we could and left to return to our launch area.
beautiful trip.. especially the first hour or so.
Sounds like a great day to me, but, tell me, are boating posts allowed
in a golf-gun-RV-snark newsgroup?
You forgot politics, asswipe. Go pay your taxes.
