Alaska is OK in the summer. It might actually be two hot for you in
Fairbanks now, close to 100 in the day. Down in the Kenai it is more
moderate, high 60s and 70s.
We really liked the Kenai, particularly the west side. Seward is a big
tourist trap because that is where the cruise ships dock. They have
wheel chair accessible glacier tours and stuff. When you get over on
the other side in Homer, you can find hikes that you need to take a
water taxi to and you might not see another person all day.
