Skipper was a trip in many ways, but, as I stated any number of times,
despite our disagreements, he did have the ability to relate anecdotes
in a readable way and when he wanted to, he could write at a decent
intellectual level. Your boy FlaJim writes like a 7th grader
describing
his farts.

Everyone is different. But as you know, I've known Jim personally for
many years, both before and after he moved from my area. He helped me
out a lot with boat problems (he really *does* know his stuff) and
we've enjoyed some good times. I consider him a friend. I am very
loyal to my friends.

Jim has his political views (and those on other subjects) that are
not consistent with yours and frankly are sometimes not consistent
with mine. In the past several years you have never been exactly
bashful about rendering opinions on the I.Q scores, employment
background or general experience of those who don't share your way of
seeing things. So, one thing leads to another. "What came first,
the chicken or the egg?" type contest.

That will never be resolved. But, if you have him in your Bozo bin I
think you may be missing some humor .... which is what was reminiscent
of Skipper.
