Texas is a wild-ass state, worse, in many ways, than Florida, in terms
of strange and violent criminal behavior. If you ever tour the Lower
48, it's worth putting on your "avoid" list, along with Mississippi,
Alabama, and South Carolina. Louisiana is worth visiting, though. Note
that I am not saying our other states are without craziness and
violence, but from the headlines I see on regular news shows, it's
hard to top Texas.
