This isn't cool at all!

Man, that could be a disaster.

We have far too many people living in former river bottom land, behind
levees. The same is true of beach front property.

FEMA is currently reevaluating how they write these flood policies and
the insurance premium costs may be forcing these people to either
elevate or move.

Yep, that's all true. Flatland rivers change course! Hell, look at maps
from before and after the New Madrid earthquake. It actually made the
Mississippi run the other direction for awhile!
