Default The levee at Alton IL. could break

They got there with sand bags to stop it at that time. Last night a

levee at the other in of West Alton was topped and flooded out hwy

367.



They had to block off the way out of town in that direction to try and

keep it from flooding the town. They told everyone in town to get out

now.



If the levee holds and the rain we have coming does not cause it to

over flow or break, my house might be ok this time again...."





This isn't cool at all!


I'd be real nervous if I was him...I'd probably have my boat sitting free on it's trailer, ready to go at a moment's notice.
Or on the other hand.. have a couple weeks clothes, food & water packed in the utility trailer for a quick dash to higher ground.
