I never understood how charter schools "waste money".
They actually spend a lot less per student than the public school
(they only get FTE) and usually get better results.

If a charter school fails, it gets closed. If a public school fails,
we just throw more money at it and hope it gets better. They seldom
do.because there is no fundamental change in how they do things and
incompetent people are still "fire proof".
