You still miss the idea of metaphor don't you?
"Look" in this case is the overall impression, based on everything I
have seen and read. I understand these guys were wannabe jihadists,
compared to Bin Laden but there are still 4 dead Americans and almost
200 injured.
Before this is over they may have cost the US close to a billion
dollars for an investment of a few hundred dollars.
The media, again, rewards these killers far more than their evil deeds
deserve. We make ourselves a very attractive target for terror.
Terrorists know the US media is a force multiplier, blowing any attack
far out of proportion to what the real effect was.

While all of that about the media is true, you STILL haven't told me
what exactly does a Jihadist "look like"?
