How about a waiting period? That usually helps when someone doesn't
have a gun and wants to off himself on the spur of the moment.

Yup I doubt he bought it from the gun concessionaire at the race.

Maybe you think that should be legal?

People buy deadly weapons each and every day. They go into the store purshcase their deadly
weapon and walk out with it. No background check, no ID needed, just pick out which one you
want, take it to the counter, pay for it and leave the store.

So, then you have no objection to selling guns at NASCAR events. If
you don't like the winner, just open up on him?
