Nobody has ever claimed that any of those guns were bought illegally
or that this dealer violated any law selling them.
The violations were totally unrelated but the pressure to "find
something" on this guy seems pretty certain.

So, the "something" the found was trivial? How do you know this? Oh
yeah, you don't. Which 20 kids would you like see murdered next?
