If you are asking whether I will cash my SS checks, yes I will but I
do wonder how they are actually getting the money. Unfortunately a lot
of it is simply created out of thin air and I know that is the road to
runaway inflation.
I filed my application the beginning of this month via the "internets."
It's a few bucks more than I thought it would be, maybe because I waited
longer than I had to.
I started at 64, a couple years ago, but I am just banking the money.
It is my new boat fund. The only money I have spent was the $7200 for
my new motor (F70 Yamaha). I still plan on having those guys at Fire
and Marine in Ohio build me one. They seem to be the only people I can
find who will build a custom pontoon boat. I want it tougher than any
consumer grade boat I have seen and the commercial builders like
Trident won't build anything less than 35 feet.
I like pontoon boats on smaller lakes and rivers, but I don't see many
out on Chesapeake Bay. Maybe a couple in all these years. Makes sense
where you are.
