Not knocking college. It's a valuable key to one's career, but it's
not the only key.

Absolutely right. Education and knowledge are only valuable to the
extent that you can use them effectively to accomplish something else.
Almost everyone has met an educated fool at one time or another.
And, almost everyone has met an incompetent uneducated fool at one
time or another. Not much of a point either way.
