Yes, they claim to have a .100 gauge thick aluminum bottom and sides.
It sure seems solid compared to the Princecraft Yukon.
These boats are made in Northern Ontario and seem to offer a bit more
than the competition for the buck...at least up here where everything
is a bit more expensive.

Nice thing is..they include the items most people may want and show
the somewhat fixed price right in their catalogue.
Bad thing.. they start off with undersized motors to keep prices low
so you automatically have to 'upgrade' right from the get go.

From what I've seen over the years, a marginally sized outboard as
standard equipment is pretty much the norm for all boat manufacturers.
I think you were wise to opt for the bigger one.
