There's certainly a lot of cabin fever being vented here lately. Hope spring hurries up. We've had a chilly winter here in SC, but we were able to get out on the lake about a week ago for a little while. By late March we'll be back in boating business!

The boating is actually too good here
We have virtual traffic jams even up in my little river. I have never
seen so many boats around here. Fortunately they are too scared to get
very far out of the channel so we still have lots of places to get out
of the madding crowd. With the winter low tides, you really need some
local knowledge if you want to go exploring. There are even some
places where the channel gets down to the 2-3 foot range if you get
out of the sweet spot.

It is too cold for the manatees so we can go anywhere we want, as fast
as I go, until the middle of April.

One of my "beachfront buddies" who lives year around in a winterized
cottage between Branford and Guilford, Connecticut, says they're
expecting another snowstorm this weekend. No manatees.
