Uncle Carl --

Uncle Carl was a staunch Conservative, and voted straight Republican
until the day he died in Chicago. Since then he has voted Democrat.

Uncle Carl used to say that participating in a gun buy-back is like
having yourself castrated because you believe that the neighbors have
too many kids.
