We know you're really no brighter than Snotty Scotty, but there's no
reason to think those who were not in the military during the Vietnam
era draft "evaded" the draft. Evaded implies something nefarious.

The majority of men of "draft age" during that moronic war were not
"drafted" and did not enlist and in no way "evaded" the draft.

Further, though we know your military service there was the "high point"
of your adult life, the reality is that all we did in Vietnam, aside
from causing the death of a million people, was prop up a despised
military dictatorship in South Vietnam, a government so corrupt that
Buddhist monks set themselves on fire to protest it.
